Welcome back to the HGATE Newsletter!

As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on this little project that began just a few months ago. When I first started publishing this list in September, I could never have imagined the overwhelming support it would receive. Today, over 2,500 local residents open this email every single week, and I’m truly humbled by how this newsletter has grown.

My goal is to support local businesses, highlight the incredible variety of things to do in our town, and bring together a community of like-minded people. Your enthusiasm and engagement have made that possible, and for that, I’m deeply grateful.

In 2025, I have some exciting plans with our first HGATE event due to take place in early February, stay tuned for more information on this!

I’ve got you covered with events for this week, however, in an effort to spend my downtime with friends and family, this will be the last newsletter of 2024. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Harrogate Neighbours

Harrogate Neighbours Community Hub is a vibrant space where community spirit thrives and meaningful connections are made every day. Located in Starbeck, the Hub is dedicated to bringing people together, offering engaging social activities, educational workshops, and essential support services to all.

Open Monday to Friday, the Hub hosts free activities and sessions daily, along with tea, coffee, and cakes always on hand to keep everyone refreshed. There’s also a smaller, private space available for discussions or meetings.

As winter sets in, the Hub becomes a warm and welcoming haven, offering Soup Lunches from December to March and Tech Support starting in January—perfect for staying connected and supported during the colder months.

Whether you’re looking to volunteer, join in activities, or simply meet new friends, the Harrogate Neighbours Community Hub is the place to be. Come along and experience how we’re building a stronger, more connected community together.
